EMMA: Launch of first multilingual MOOCs underway
October 2014 is an important month for EMMA with the launch of the first round of multilingual MOOCs. These MOOCs cover a range of different subjects from Blended Learning to Management of Cultural Enterprises, from Searching on the Internet to Climate Change. Each MOOC lasts between 6 and 8 weeks and is offered by one of the EMMA university partners; Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II, Italy, Open Universiteit, Netherlands, Universidade Aberta, Portugal, University of Leicester, UK and Universitat Politècnica de València, Spain. This first catalogue of courses are all offered in at least 2 languages including Spanish, English, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch and Catalan and learners are welcome to test out the learning platform in multiple languages as they find the course that best meets their needs and interests. EMMA is experimental in nature and so feedback from the wider educational community is welcome to help us to improve the platform.
